So while my girlfriend and I were dating we thought it be a good idea to go to the bank together and open investing accounts on the recommendation of her sister's husband. So we did, and we thought we were being all cute and and adult-y. We were living happy lives together being boyfriend and girlfriend until we weren't. Thank god we didn't opt into the option of sharing a joint account. We were really into each other back then but when the lady asked if we wanted access to a single account or both wanted our own and we opted into having our own, we kind of set the tone of the relationship... Anyways, I digress, I put about $1500 into two different companies, the more promising tanked as of recently. Luckily I sold before it really hit the fan but I sitll ate a $500 dollar loss. When they say don't invest unless it's money you're willing to lose they really do mean it.
I got a good laugh out of this "we kind of set the tone of our relationship." Sorry dude. Market is pretty volatile right now given legality i still brand new and trying to find its legs. I would suggest giving it time and not losing hope on it. There will always be loss in any market, this one is no exception.
