I was hanging out with my out of town cousins and hadn't really been exposed to it before then. They were always much cooler than I was - I admired them for it and they turned out to take a liking to me to so I figured then would be as good a time as any. I remember my cousin took 20 or so minutes in the bathroom gutting a cigar and replacing its innards with the cannabis. We took a leisure walk a few blocks down, it was a warm summer evening so we were all in good spirits. Knowing I had never used it before, my cousins tried explaining what the sensation would be like. We found a good spot and sparked up. To my surprise I don't remember coughing and it didn't hit me until we had finished the blunt. I'm not sure what strain we were smoking I was too inexperienced to care but thinking back it was most likely a sativa. My feet felt weightless, like I was walking on a cloud (excuse the lame metaphor). It was all smiles and giggles. However, I imagine that would be most people's first experience. After that, it was endless hours of listening to led zepplin's dark side of the moon. Wouldn't take back that experience for anything.
